About the Site.
Rewind The Radio is the fanlisting collective of Sarah, and was officially opened to the public on August 18th 2009. Basically the site is meant to house every fanlisting that I maintain or have joined. Currently I do not intend to adopt out any of my fanlistings, though I may in the future. Rewind the Radio is fairly new to the world of fanlisting collectives, but I knew the moment I bought my domain that I wanted to create a collective just for fanlistings. Rewind (for short) is current running on Enthusiast, which is a PHP script that is made specially to run fanlistings. All fanlistings displayed on the site are approved by TFL.org or TAFL.org.
The first time I joined a fanlisting was back when I started my blog in 2007, I loved the idea of being a part of fansites and fan-clubs that people could join. When I started my own sites, I decided that one day I wanted to create my own fanlisting collective. Rewind was actually not my first attempt to create one. Gray Skies was the name of my very first fanlisting collective, unfortunately the collective itself was never fully finished, I did own one fanlisting, but it got deleted along with my WIP collective by my host. In late 2008 I bought my own domain, and I was eager to open a new collective. Unfortunately my other sites kept me busy and it took me almost a year to set-up Rewind the Radio. The name was originally going to be "Vivid Affection", but I made a last minute change, thus Rewind was born!
Today, Rewind the Radio is still going strong, and I am still adding joined fanlistings as well as constantly working on new fanlistings. I hope you enjoy the site, and be sure to contact me, if you have any comments, questions, etc. Rewind the Radio is a part of The Fear Network.
